Director of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ivan Barbalić, received today a delegation headed by Manuel Aigner, Austrian Attaché for Social Affairs and Health, and Ingrid Pammer, Director of International Programmes at the Vocational Training and Rehabilitation Centre in Austria (Berufliches Bildungs- und Rehabilitationszentrum - BBRZ).

International cooperation and labour market inclusion programmes for people with disabilities in Bosnia and Herzegovina were topics that were discussed in the meeting.  A BBRZ’s representative presented a model of successful labour market integration of people with disabilities and other marginalised groups that BBRZ implements in Bosnia and Herzegovina in partnership with ProReha and Sumero, organisations from Sarajevo that were also represented in the meeting.

It was concluded that efforts should be invested in developing a labour market integration model for people with disabilities and other marginalised groups in Bosnia and Herzegovina and that the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina was open for cooperation with all partners that have the knowledge and experience to improve the labour market in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in particular within the domain of work with marginalised groups and people with disabilities.
