Mr. Muamer Bandić,
Director of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, met today with Mr. Alexander Wilhelm,
Executive Director of the International and Specialized Services (ZAV) of the German Federal Employment Agency, and Mr. Emir Čomor,
Project Manager of the Triple Win Project in Bosnia and Herzegovina to
discuss labour market situation in both countries, perspectives of
future cooperation and the status of the cooperation under the Triple
Win Project.
Following
a constructive discussion, a number of positive conclusions were made
regarding
the improvements in the existing activities. One of the main changes is
that the costs of translating documents necessary for recognition of
professional qualifications and their certification at the German
Embassy will be covered by the Triple Win Project
as of autumn 2021. In addition, the Triple Win Project will start
making bonus payments in the amount of 500 euros to applicants who pass
their language exam at B1 level on their first try.
The
German Federal Employment Agency was asked to send notifications
of any changes in regulations, working conditions and pay grades for the
professional qualification that is the subject of our placement
services and that any change applying to German workers also applies to
workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina who have been
placed in jobs under the Agreement between the Labour and Employment
Agency of BiH and the German Federal Employment Agency.
Under
the agreed cooperation between these two institutions
more attention will be given to the exchange of knowledge and experience
between PES employees and the initiation of new activities in the
education of the unemployed from BiH in accordance with the German and
the EU educational standards and principles.
In the end, it was decided to intensify this way of work and
organisation of meetings to enable timely and good quality implementation of all conclusions.
