Labour and Employment Agency of BiH successfully audits WAPES Strategic Governance



The Labour and Employment Agency of BiH presented the Audit Report on Strategic Governance of the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES) at the meeting of WAPES Managing Board and the General Assembly held respectively on 17^th and 18^th April 2018 in Marrakech, Morocco. 

A delegation of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, led by Mr. Muamer Bandić, LEA BiH Director, presented the part of WAPES Audit Report concerning its Strategic Governance in the meeting of WAPES Managing Board. The Report was unanimously approved at the General Assembly plenary session by 52 WAPES members. 

According to Director Bandić, it was a great challenge and responsibility for the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH as WAPES Auditor to review the Strategic Governance of the World Association of Public Employment Services in the period 2015-2018.  The three components that were audited were Strategic Direction, Governance and Structural Organisation.  The Audit entailed the analysis of all available WAPES documents, WAPES Strategy 2015-2018 and analysis of responses to questionnaires sent out to WAPES members.  The Audit delivered findings and recommendations for each of the three components of Strategic Governance.

The unanimously approved Audit Report prepared by the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH is a great credit to Bosnia and Herzegovina and our institution, and an acknowledgement of our professionality and competence in delivering all tasks assigned to us, said Director Bandić.
