Labour and Employment Agency of BiH signs Cooperation Protocol with Ernst&Young

On February 10th 2015, the Deputy Director of the Labour and Employment Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Željko Rajić, signed the Cooperation Protocol with the company Ernst&Young. 

Ernst&Young is a global leader in assurance, tax, transactions and advisory services with about 190,000 employees worldwide.  E&Y is a global organisation consisted of member companies of Ernst&Young Global Limited. 

As part of its strategy for talent development and in cooperation with the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH, E&Y is organising the programme „Your Career Starts Here“designed for informal education of young people in Bosnia and Herzegovina.  The support will also be provided by entity-level public employment services and the Employment Service of the Brčko District of BiH.

The Programme is designed to include workshops and tests for candidates with the final competition of 20 top candidates which will be held on March, 20th 2015 in Sarajevo.  The top ranking candidates will be given scholarships and provided with the opportunity of internship with E&Y in Sarajevo with the possibility of employment in October 2015.    

The programme „Your Career Starts Here“ is intended for students of public and private BiH faculties of economics, law, technical and mechanical sciences, transport and traffic engineering, mathematics and management.  Eligible applicants are students of all years of studies, as well as highly educated unemployed persons with up to 3 years of unemployment spell after graduation. 

The programme is organised so that E&Y representatives will provide the trainees with possibility to gain practical knowledge, while spotting talents through their work. All trainees will obtain certificates of attendance.  The programme will be implemented in Sarajevo, Mostar, Banja Luka, Tuzla and Bijeljina.  

The public call for submission of applications will be published on the website of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and all public employment services and offices in BiH.
