Labour and Employment Agency of BiH signs Memorandum of Understanding with GOPA Representative Office in BiH



A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed today between the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH and GOPA Representative Office in BiH.  The Memorandum has been signed by Mr. Muamer Bandić, the Agency’s Director, and Mr. Ranko Markuš, Director of the GOPA Office in BiH.   The aim of this Memorandum is to improve the services for job seekers by developing software applications which will facilitate the processing of incoming job announcements from abroad, the issuance of work permits, record-keeping and preparation of reports on employment and work permits.  In order to strengthen the role of public employment services in BiH, the Memorandum provides for the organisation of fora which will serve as an information-sharing venue for public employment services with the aim to improve their work. The Memorandum also entails the continuation of cooperation on the Youth Employment Project (YEP). 

Muamer Bandić, the Agency’s Director, stressed that continuation of the cooperation reflected the commitment of the Labour and Employment Agency of BiH to continuous strengthening of all public employment services towards achieving better quality day-to-day services provided to the unemployed.
